Hi. When will your book Wrong Lead, Dream Horse Mystery #2 be available? I loved On the Buckle, Dream Horse Mystery #1 (I just left a review) and I’m looking forward to reading the next. Loved the accurate horse content, the hunky man, the quirky characters, and the humour.

Hi J! Glad to hear you enjoyed On the Buckle. As a lifelong horsewoman, I love it when readers notice the accurate horse content. As an author, I never get tired of hearing a reader loved my work. I’m working on Wrong Lead right now. It should be out in spring of 2016, but I’m not making any promises. The last time I did that, I had to eat my words (and no amount of whipped cream makes that go down easily) plus a lot of the words I’d written, which weren’t very tasty, either.

Check out this update from Vi herself from about a year ago: http://candacecarrabus.com/a-message-from-vi-parker-2/

      Thanks, and ENJOY THE RIDE!

The Horsecaller book 1 is a wonderful read, enthral lying and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Absolutely loved it. I have been looking for Book 2 but don’t seem to have seen anything yet. As you called the first Book 1 I assume there will be another, is this going to happen please.

    • Candace says:

Hi Lynne, Thank you so much! You have no idea how much your comments mean to me. I really appreciate your taking the time to stop by and leave a note. There will be more Horsecaller books, but I’m not sure when. So much writing to do… In the meantime, you might consider my latest release, The Roar of Smoke, which is set in Cirq. It is not the next Horsecaller book, but Lauren and Leinos make an appearance as do the horses. Find more info here: http://candacecarrabus.com/the-roar-of-smoke-2/ and you can download a sample chapter on the Books page: http://candacecarrabus.com/the-roar-of-smoke-2/ Again, I thank you for coming by. Enjoy the ride!

Loved the story with the dog William the concurer, I bawled like a baby when I thought he was gone but laughed with happiness at how it ended.
    Thanks for great book.

    • Candace says:

Hi Jenniffer! Thanks so much for stopping by to leave a comment. That means so much to me. I’m so glad you enjoyed Steph’s and William’s story–I sure did love writing it. Oh, goodness, you should have heard my critique group when I brought that chapter about William…they were NOT happy with me. But all’s well that ends well. 🙂

    • Candace says:

      Hi Ellen,

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and tell me! That means a lot. I love William, too. I hope you also enjoy the next Witting Woman novella, The Good Horse, The Bad Man & The Ugly Woman. A new Witting Woman story should be out by summer. Happy reading, and enjoy the ride!

I’d love to know how soon Wrong Lead will be released, looks like it was scheduled for the end of 2014 and we’re there! Will we have it in time for Christmas?

    • Candace says:

Dodi? Wow!! What a blast from the past. How are you? So glad you found me and my books. THANK YOU for writing a review!! Yeah, those were the days, right? Seems like yesterday and sometimes seems like another life altogether! Vi’s next adventure is in progress. I hope it will be out in time for Christmas.

The dog, the man,his owner, her lover – you had me in tears coming to the end, don’t do that again! Omg I have a sick pet so this just crushed my heart. But on a lighter note I am enjoying this box set of Must love pets. Thank you!!

    • Candace says:

Hi Michelle, sorry for the tears! You should have heard my critique group the night I brought that chapter about William. They threatened me with bodily harm should I write anything bad happening to that dog. But all’s well that ends well, right? I’m so glad to hear you are enjoying the box set. Thank you for taking the time to write a comment.–Candace
