An Amazing Leap!
How did I make the 50-year leap from clunky manual typewriter to this? I had to download and upload files for my book into the Amazon Kindle site. The e-mail came in at 4:00 p.m. yesterday, but was more than I could handle. I needed time to mentally, emotionally, and physically prepare for yet another venture in the world of electronic publishing. This called for a lovely hot drink before crawling into bed with my corn bag to warm my feet, a Tylenol to help me relax, and soothing music to send me into dreamland.
It worked! This morning I got up and enjoyed my usual cup of coffee, had a good breakfast with an excellent cup of tea, trotted downstairs, scrutinized the instructions I had been given, and proceeded with the task. To my amazement, and thanks to clear guidance, the downloads/uploads were successful. In a few days, my book with join the hundreds now available to Kindle readers. Wow!
