Three poetry journals (from Writer’s Market)

AGNI buys more than 60 poems per year. This magazine pays $20-150 for poetry. The editors advise, “It is important to look at a copy of AGNI before submitting to see if your work might be compatible.”

The Georgia Review buys 60-75 poems per year. This magazine pays $3 per line. The editors say, “We seek original, excellent poetry.” As with any poetry journal, it is advised that you read a copy or two to get a feel for what that means.

Poetry buys 180-250 poems per year. This magazine pays $10 per line with a $150 minimum payment. The editors accept all styles and subject matter, though it pays to check out some recent copies to get a feel for their tastes (notice a pattern emerging?).

Candace, great idea to post these. Now we just need to get busy and submit our work!
